Came here for Saturday brunch with a friend- reservations are a must because this place was packed! We started with the burrata which was delicious- loved the pairing with the roasted fig and pear. We both ordered the eggs in purgatory and really enjoyed it (especially dipping the crusty bread in that amazing sauce!). We ordered a side of sausage which I could take or leave- nothing special there. We sat upstairs, tables are close together and it's loud but we were still able to chat. Definitely would come back here again for brunch or to try their dinner menu!

Great pastas, great service, and great vibe. We got the caccio peppe and the mushroom pasta and both were great-- both pastas were on the saltier side, but still I loved the sauce. I'll definitely be back to try out their other dishes!

L'Artusi is such a charming restaurant. We had reservations at the bar. We started off with an order of Potatoes, Butter Lettuce, and Brussels Sprouts. The portion was great to split in half. I love Brussels Sprouts and this batch hit the spot. The butter lettuce was light and refreshing. Plus, the potatoes were wholesome. For my entree, I had the Pici 'Cacio E Pepe'. That dish has become one of my favorite Italian dishes. The dish was rich and the pasta was a bit chewy but still yummy. I was looking forward to dessert to have olive oil cake and it did live up to my expectations.

Got a big variety of the pasta, mains, and apps. The burrata was quite good and was my favorite app. On the pastas the tagliatelle was the best one. All in all a great experience.

I came here with a party of 7 for a friend's birthday, and it was an incredible/memorable dinner! First, we didn't have luck with making a reservation online, but a friend came in person to inquire about one a couple weeks in advance, and thankfully they were able to accommodate us. The ambience is fun inside, and I liked that they had a long bar to sit at as well as various tables. There was also an upper level, but we sat on the ground level so I didn't see how big it was. The menu is a bit on the smaller side, but the dishes we got were delicious. I would recommend the Sourdough Focaccia, Pici Nero and Bucatini. For dessert, we ordered the gelato which was a nice palate cleanser and end to our delicious dinner. All in all, a great meal was had, although I don't think it's worth the craziness to try to get a reservation (there's loads of delicious Italian restaurants in NYC!).

Worth the hype! Probably some of the best Italian food I have had in the city ... excellent execution of pastas, refreshing appetizers, and very great and fast service. We had a res for 5:30 and by 6 the place was absolutely packed, which made it a bit loud to talk, but other than that terrific meal. -Burrata and tomatoes (5/5): this dish had peaches and tomatoes with delicious burrata and candied walnuts. So yummy and refreshing!! -Beets with ricotta (4/5): very refreshing as well. Loved the beets, wish there was a bit more ricotta. The leave like pieces were also a bit off. -Cacio e pepe (5/5): so good!!!! Definitely could not kill an entire one of this myself because got peppery at the end, but the flavor was on point without being overboard. I also loved the uneven texture of the noodles -- you could tell it was handmade, and the noodles were also cooked perfectly al dente. -Spaghetti (4/5): the pasta itself was really light and the butter based sauce was slightly more bland, but the noodles were cooked very well and the breadcrumbs were absolutely delicious, adding the perfect crunch and saltiness to the dish. -Corn (3.5/5): a bit heavier than I expected (thought this dish was going to be cold and refreshing), but it had chunks of meat and was rather spicy, and also came warm. I love corn though, just wish it was more of a refreshing summer side. o -Olive oil cake (4/5): honestly think this is slightly overhyped but still really good... extremely moist, and delicious with the cream. By itself though, it was good but not outstanding. The raisins were too sweet though, so did not eat that with the dish. Loved the pastas here!! which is extremely rare for an Italian spot for me...

The food was pretty good, but I felt like nothing was too mind blowing. They had a good amount of interesting stuff on their menu like apple ravioli(?) I'm not sure if it was worth the hassle of waiting in line, but overall, the vibe was nice

Snagged a reservation for 3 today right before 6pm and good thing we did because it was already PACKED. Also, good thing it was well air-conditioned because it was HOT out today. The inside is way bigger than expected - it appears to even have a second floor. We got the shishito peppers to share. They were deliciously salty and paired with the lemon and lime aioli. The pici nero (crab and squid ink pasta, I think) was DELICIOUS. The portion was a bit small but the pasta was perfectly al dente. Lots of seasoning and fried garlic. Usually places are stingy about their crab but they really gave some good chunks (I thought they were globs of cheese in the dim lighting at first LOL). I need to go back just for this pasta. I got a tagliatelle for my partner to-go so I hope it's just as delicious.

I'd been to L'Artusi for dinner but this was my first time for brunch. I came with a friend and the noise level was quite high, with several groups sitting around us. I ordered the Tagliatelle - Bolognese Bianco, Parmigiano ($26+), which was very tasty--both the sauce and the pasta. It wasn't a large portion size, though, considering I am normally unable to finish pasta dishes in one sitting and was able to with this one. If you're looking for brunch with a group of friends with good pasta, L'Artusi could be a good option for brunch.
